2013 All World Ironman Athlete

All World designation is an award that Ironman gives to athletes who are among the top 10% in the world in their age group.

5-time Team USA Member

Each year, athletes compete at the National Championships for a slot on the following year's world championship team. The top 18 triathletes in each age group are eligible to be on Team USA. The following is a list of world championship teams of which I was a part (team, year and location of the world championships):

Team USA Triathlon, Lausanne, 2007

Team USA Duathlon, Richmond, 2007

Team USA Triathlon, Vancouver, 2008

Team USA Duathlon, Concord, 2009

Team USA Duathlon, Rimini, 2009

Roaring Fork Leadership Class of 2008

Roaring Fork Leadership's mission is "developing leaders for the community," which translates into an annual 10-session "Class" program. Each Roaring Fork Leadership Class is comprised of a diverse blend of individuals who are accepted into the program through an intense application process. I was part of the class of 2008.

All-American Honorable Mention

Each year, USA Triathlon designates athletes within the top 10% in the US rankings as All American Honorable Mention triathletes. Rankings are awarded based on results at three or more USAT sanctioned events. I received this honor in both 2006 and 2007.
