USAT’s Level I Triathlon Coaching certification educates aspiring coaches on how to train their athletes for various aspects of triathlon. Coaches learn how to design a training plan geared toward their athletes’ needs as well as learn strength-specific training for triathletes and key workouts. In addition, coaches learn the mechanics and skills of swimming, cycling and running from some of USA Triathlon’s most esteemed coaches. Coaches also receive instruction about nutrition periodization and mental skills, two vital aspects to master in the sport of triathlon.


Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED Certification

The American Red Cross trains individuals to deliver CPR to adults, infants and children and to use AED equipment. The CPR/AED Certification is granted to participants who successfully complete both the online and in-person course components.



Obtained October 6, 2014

The ServSafe Food Safety Training Program leads the way in providing current and comprehensive educational materials to the restaurant industry. More than four million foodservice professionals have been certified through the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam, which is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP). ServSafe training and certification is recognized by more federal, state and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certification.

HACCP is a management system in which food safety is addressed through the analysis and control of biological, chemical and physical hazards from raw material production, procurement and handling, to manufacturing, distribution and consumption of the finished product.


Allergen Awareness

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Bureau of Environmental Health/Food Protection Program has developed a regulatory program to implement M.G.L. c. 140, section 6B, "Food allergy awareness," in all food establishments in the Commonwealth that cook, prepare or serve food intended for immediate consumption either on or off the premises.
