Work Experience

I have worked in sales and marketing for ten years. Initially I worked as a National Sales Coordinator for Aspen Skiing Company and from 2007-2008 was the Account Manager for the Town of Snowmass Village. For the past six years, I have worked for SB&A, a firm that specializes in senior marketing, sales and consumer research. As a Marketing Specialist/Account Manager my overall responsibilities included new business initiatives, social media strategy, keynote presentation development and corporate wellness programming. I spoke at several conferences including LeadingAge Ohio and Pennsylvania, and spoke at wellness education events for CCRC clients. In addition, I created an internal corporate wellness program that earned American Heart Association Gold recognition in 2013, 2014 and 2015, and encouraged clients to develop and brand wellness programs.  I was also the Account Manager for Poydras Home, a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in New Orleans, LA, and helped to maintain 100% occupancy throughout the recession and fill a 33-unit expansion in 2014.

My experiences at SB&A will be invaluable to my career in the dietetics profession.  I foresee a transition from marketing resorts and CCRCs to marketing and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Research, packaging, delivery, benchmarking and appeal are as important to clients looking to improve nutrition as they are to CCRCs looking to increase occupancy. I look forward to utilizing both my marketing and consumer research backgrounds as I transition to dietetics.
