I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to present in several academic and professional settings. I really enjoy speaking in public and always look forward to the opportunity to share my knowledge and polish my public speaking skills. Below you will find a few examples of presentations I have given over the past few years (click on the link at the end of each description to download work samples).
Organic vs. Conventional Produce
Simmons College, NUTR 452 (Disease Prevention)
My course of study during summer 2015 was NUTR 452 (Disease Prevention). Our final project was to conduct a literature search on a preventive nutrition topic using current scientific evidence (original, current research). Each student gave a 10-15 minute presentation on his/her topic, which accounted for a significant portion of the final grade. My literature review focused on the question “Is organic produce healthier and safer than conventional produce.” Click here to access this presentation.
Sports Nutrition Products
In March 2015 I was fortunate to be invited by Dr. Jen Sachek to speak to a group of graduate students about sports nutrition products, my experiences in triathlon and fueling strategies of endurance athletes. Click here to access this presentation.
